Happy 400

So this is my 400th post! I am sure that I have technically already posted 400 due to post deletions and what have you but this is gonna be the "official" 400. I am kind of surprised that I started using this blog again. The reason I stopped was because most of my posts from the past two years have been mostly about Avery and to be honest it depressed me to see them. I also wasn't even really that happy with life so I didn't really feel like talking about it. Now though I feel like I can start up again and start talking about things. I hope that I can post enjoyable things for people to enjoy when I am not yammering on about my boring personal life.

True Grit was truly great

So I just got back from seeing True Grit with Dan and my brother Austin. First off, it was a beautiful movie. Secondly, everything else about it was amazing as well. The visuals and the storyline definitely romanticized the time period and the lifestyle for me. I wanted to be a cowboy, or a Texas ranger after it was over. This has become my second favorite movie of the year without question.

The Christmas Spirit

I really enjoy watching Christmas movies right before the big day! I am currently watching Home Alone and it is really putting me in the mood. The mood for Christmas ya pervs! I still have a few I want to watch so I better get on that because we are having Christmas a day early. My sister is leaving on a trip on the 25th so we moved everything back a day. So that makes tomorrow my Christmas Eve!!! Wuh Woh!

I bought an app for my phone to help me learn francais called my french coach. I am hoping that I can get somewhat competent in the language though because knowing french would be pretty cool and definitely an excellent asset to have. One of my friends said that she would help me learn french too because she is bilingual!

I have rediscovered my love for coffee. I have been drinking at least two cups a day recently in all variations. Sometimes instead of sugar I use a packet of hot chocolate and sometimes instead of cream/milk I use chocolate milk. But sometimes on the rare occasion I use both and I even put some whipped cream on top with some chocolate shavings.

I have not blogged in a reallllly long time

The last time I blogged I posted about my hate for my ex. I don't really want to say what she has has turned into since breaking up with me but it basically kills me to know what she has done, what she's capable of doing and thinking about what she is still going to do in the future.

Anyways, I moved onto going to school in London at fanshawe and I have recently finished my first semester. I am also getting really sick of school as I have been in school straight without any breaks for the past 16 months. I think I am going to be taking a break from school and trying to find some work and just do that for a while. Try to take some initiative and start working with my friends on some video projects.

I am basically permanently depressed but spending time with my friends in London has definitely been cheering me up. Needless to say I have some really good friends. Some of which I know I can count on for pretty much anything.

Right now I am at my families in Chatham for a while which is nice but also depressing as well. Christmas is definitely a time when being alone sucks especially since its my first one alone since 2007. Oh well! At least I have an awesome family and friends!

This is my 365th post...as of now I will hate avery wells 365 days of the year.

I really wanna go preorder this so I can get in the beta thats going on right now.

Gonna be going to see get him to the greek either today or tomorrow with Avery. I am pretty excited to see it too. I watched the opening scene of the movie on funnyordie.com and I am thinking it will be quite hilarious. It has been a while since Avery and I have gone out to a movie so I am hoping it will be fun!

Avery doesn't like it cause it is not live action but I really enjoy it. It came before Tim and Eric and I think it is still funny as hell. It only ran for two seasons but I think if you read this you should check it out.

So this past weekend was HUGE! Firstly it was my b-day! and Secondly and more importantly my new Nephew was born! I hopefully get to meet him next weekend and I can not frigging wait! I also had my moms wedding last weekend too which went pretty awesome. With all of these things happening plus school I have been super busy!

Also Avery made my bday super awesome and I love love her a lot!

In response to my cousin!

I decided to just write this as a blog post instead of a reply. I actually did start talking to a handful of people in my second day so that was pretty good! Toronto is also going pretty well. I think I will be moving more downtown in the summer so I am thinking that will be pretty fun. Other than that though everything else is all going great! Just ordered my laptop so hopefully I will be getting that soon.

Overall, life is good.

So today was the first day back to school and also the first day of the digital media arts program. It is pretty wild to comprehend that I will be taking this class for the next 18 months!!! Crazy....speaking of which. I really need to actually have a conversation with someone in the class tomorrow so hopefully I can make some friend soon. You know since I will be having pretty much all my classes with them for the next 18 months? yeah probably a good idea.

Kick Ass

I recently went and saw Kick Ass in theaters (Thanks to Avery for taking me!) and it was amazing. I read the comic book and I really enjoyed that which gave me high hopes for the movie. It did not follow the book exactly but that was both good and bad as some of the changes were welcome but some I think should not of happened. Overall though I really loved it and I hope that I can catch it in theaters again before it is gone.

Alienware M11X

In less than a month I will have this awesome laptop. It is small and portable like a net-book but packs a lot of power. It is an ultra portable gaming laptop and since gaming needs powerful graphics processors this will mean that it will be very effective at running the graphic hogging programs I need to run to complete my homework for school. Considering the PC I have now is around 11 years old and has problems just surfing the web, I think this will be an extremely welcome change.

Just had a lovely little picnic with Avery outside. I really enjoyed that! I guess we are going to be going to the zoo this weekend which should be really fun! I am also starting my YMC classes this Saturday which run every Saturday 12-4. I am pretty pumped about that. One of my teachers from my past year at school is one of the instructors for it and another student told me about it. The best thing about it though is that it is completely free which is sweet. The course covers HTML, JavaScript, flash and other topics related to the industry like marketing.

I am also starting the Digital Media Arts program soon as well which is very exciting. Not being in school the past couple weeks has made time sort of blend together and that makes it very easy for me to lose track of it. Oh well!

When I am not in school the days blend together and I lose track of time.

Go and see How to Train Your Dragon! It needs support in the theaters because 3D enabled theaters are still very sparse and Avatar and Alice are still around. This movie was amazing…Honestly it is on the same level as Pixar which is definitely something special considering it is a dreamworks movie.

My name is Aaron Edward David Rogers. I was born June 5th, 1986 and I am currently 23 years old. I was born in London, Ontario and lived there until I moved to Chatham, Ontario for two years when I was 21. I have a large immediate family consisting of two younger brothers, two younger sisters, mother, and step father. I enjoy seeing movies, playing video games, reading, and going out with friends and family.

I attended Sir G.E. Cartier elementary school from kindergarten through grade 8. For High school I attended South Secondary for grades 9 to 11 and H.B. Beal Secondary for Grades 11 to 13. At H.B. Beal I took the extensive art and broadcasting programs. In the broadcasting program we learned how to use various pieces of hardware and software such as video cameras, digital cameras, audio recording devices, mixing boards, television broadcast equipment, adobe Illustrator, adobe Photoshop, final cut pro, and so on. We would broadcast the morning news and announcements over the schools television system and would alternate between doing different jobs each week to run it. We would also be required to produce PSA’s and intro movies to play during and before the morning program as well. The art program I took at the school was a 4 credit course which ran half day for the entire school year, as was the broadcasting program. In the art classes I learned various art techniques in life drawing, photography, model making, lithography, painting and art history. I believe with the combination of the two programs I was able to learn how to be artistic in a digital media time.

I have had four jobs so far in my life. Two were in grocery stores and two were in Call centers. These jobs provided me with valuable customer service skills and also good communication skills. I also already knew how to use computers but any experience with using them is always an asset as it was with my call center experience.

So today I was extremely sick and threw up 7 times...it was a horribly horrible day.

SOOOO I have not worked out in a few days due to being busy with the gf for valentines and going out for dinner twice over the weekend. BUT I will be working out today and tomorrow to make up for it.

I am going to be making a fake TIME magazine man of the year cover featuring Nathan Drake from the Uncharted games for school. I am looking forward to doing that!

Kaityy's Birthday night out on friday was fun! Went to a gay bar which was kind of awkward but oh well. The only thing that sucked was that I missed the last subway so I had to take a bus for half the way which took forever and was crowded as hell! Oh well! I had fun.

Also today is Kaityy's actual Bday so HAPPY BDAY KAITYY IF YOU SEE THIS!!!!
