to get or not to get

So the rogers iphone plan details have finally been released and I am a bit disappointed with what they are charging. I had been hearing about a $30 unlimited data plan that should of happened. I really wish there was another provider capable of providing the iphone so we could get some competition with rogers, but since there isnt rogers is able to charge whatever they want. Although it probably wouldn't matter because I am pretty sure the 3g network doesn't even cover Chatham which means I would probably be using wifi mostly. I am planning on getting this plan
$60 Voice/Data Gives you…
150 daytime + Unlimited Evenings/Weekends (I am not a big phone talker so the less minutes is fine.)
400MB data (not too much but probably enough, I will use wifi mostly anyways.)
75 Sent text messages (this is just wrong, you basically have to get an add on for more texting.)
Unlimited incoming text messages
Unlimited Voicemail (Visual voicemail <3)
Voice "value" pack
$20/month: Caller ID, Who Called, Caller Ring Trax, 10,000 Sent Text Messages and 6:00 p.m. Early Evening Calling and 2,500 Call Forwarding Minutes.(obviously the text messaging, why not just make it unlimited?, and the early evening and weekends is the winner for getting this pack.)
Obviously this is not cheap, I am honestly rethinking getting the iphone due to these prices. This plan is probably the most reasonable plan you can get and its almost $100 bucks a month. This doesn't even include unlimited data and has a measly 150 daytime minutes. Rogers is pretty much raping our wallets and taking full advantage of its customers on this one. I still really want one though but I am really reconsidering it and possibly going with a different provider and a different phone. I don't really know, I will see how things go.

I mean, how nice is this?

How do you want to be treated?

I don't understand how people can make plans and then just not go through with them or if something better comes along then they just switch plans to do whatever is "better". I like to try and treat people the way I want to be treated and I really wish more people would live the same way. I just want people to be respectful to the plans they make. Obviously there is exceptions if other things need to be done instead but doing nothing or going and hanging out with someone else instead aren't in that category. I guess in the end I just want my friends to act like my friends and if you make plans, keep them.

In other news I just got back from 7/11 with my brother and we got some delicious slurpees! mmmm.

too cool for...

So I am really excited about going to school in the fall. I will have been out of high school for two years so I am glad to be finally starting. I am looking forward to getting back into the classroom, I am not sure if I will regret feeling this, well I probably will at least a few times but it will be worth it. The campus for St Clair here in Chatham is pretty small and I was talking to a friend who went there last year and she said everyone pretty much knows each other which will be good and bad. I think that we are going to be moving to Windsor, or at least my mom has talked about it when my sister Chloe is done high school here so that would be in two years. I think I might move out next year to do my second and third year of college in windsor, we will see though when the time comes.

Jess is supposed to be coming to visit tomorrow but I don't think she is because she told me to go to London instead but I am too poor for that and its last minute to find a place to stay. Oh well I guess.

P.s. - 17 days until the iphone!

oversleep

Don't you hate it when you get a lot of sleep, say around 10 hours of sleep in one night and then you wake up feeling more tired then you did when you went to sleep. The past few mornings I have been feeling like that and it really sucks.

I finally went to see Indiana Jones on Friday and I thought it was actually pretty good. I felt that it kept the feel of the first three. The silliness, the humor, and the adventure were all still there. I think some people need to re watch the first films and compare these elements to the new ones, I found them to be intact. Obviously Indiana Jones wasn't going to be exactly the same character he was in the first few films, hes a lot older in this film and has been through a lot as it states in the movie since the Last Crusade, especially world war two. Now I am not saying it was amazing, the choice of using aliens wasn't really the direction I think they should of went but I still think they did it well. Overall I think it was a good addition to the first three movies. Now I have heard they are thinking of making another movie in the series with Shia being a more central character and Indiana Jones taking a supporting role, this is something I don't really think I would want to see but I would obviously have to hold judgement until I actually saw the film if it is ever to be made.

I love Ethan Halko

Eventful weekend, new way of doing things and some motivation has returned.

I went to Britt's birthday party this past Friday and had a really awesome time. It was probably one of the best parties yet here in Chatham. I ended up walking home the next morning at 7:30 because I didn't want to go back to sleep on the hard wood floor. A half an hour walk while still drunk from the night before and on 3-4 hours sleep in a seated position is not fun. I am really glad I had my ipod with me though or else I probably would of just stayed.

I didn't really do much else over the weekend except play Metal Gear Solid 4 which is fine by me because it was one of the best games I have ever played. Totally and completely amazing. Everything from the visuals, the sound effects and voice acting, the sometimes really long cut scenes, the choice of action or stealth, and even Metal Gear Online is all amazing. If you liked any of the games in the series before this then you will like this game too.

I am gonna be choosing to take business first year in college and then see where I want to go from there. Either stay in business or move on to something else. I will wait and see!

I am also supposed to be going to hand out resumes tomorrow with Avery so I am hoping that I will be able to find a sweet job soon because I need iphone money. I won't be able to get it when it comes out I have realized because I will have to make school payments which is kind of crappy but I am still going to be getting it either way, just not right when I was hoping for.

I also have started carrying around a small pocket sized notebook to jot down any important notes or to write down anything I need to do. I find it very helpful to keep my priorities in check.

El Photographos

This is what I look like when I play COD4 and get killed
I had a really good came of COD4. Almost a 6:1 ratio and more then double the xp gained then any of the 15 other people playing.

One day it hailed pretty bad out. Yeah the white stuff is hail and it was the size of large marbles.

it is upon us!

The iphone is finally coming to Canada on July 11th and I will be getting it for sure! I am so glad that I did not buy the htc touch when I was going to, I would of been so pissed!!

Soon this will be mine!!! Although I really want to see what the rate plans are going to be like for it. Mainly how the unlimited data will work/cost. I also really want to get a pre-order asap but I will wait in line for one even if Ethan wont!!

RIP - You will be missed

busy bee

Well I had my birthday this past Thursday. I am getting old!! My mom took me out for Mexican for lunch before I went to the train station to go to London. Ethan and Jess Pham met me at the train station and we then walked to Ethan's. I am really starting to hate all of this heat we have been having. We hung out at Ethan's for a little while before JP had to go back downtown to get picked up. Ian, Jakob, Jess Eykens, and another girl came over to Ethan's and then we walked downtown to Crabby Joe's for dinner. Aaron Laforme came to meet us there which was awesome since I hadn't seen him since December! I forgot to bring my camera so I wasn't able to get any pictures :(

After dinner Aaron and Jess Eykens had to go home and we went back to the girls house while Jakob and Ian went swimming in a freezing pool and a stinky hot tub.

The next day I had Jess Pham's prom. Ethan and I went to McDonald's for lunch and then hung out with Ian for a bit before JP and Georgia came to pick me up. We then went to Georgia's while the girls got dressed and ready to go to the pre prom thing. We had to stand outside for about an hour waiting to go to prom and it was insanely hot. Keep in mind I was wearing a full tux and there wasn't much shade. Eventually we caught a cab downtown to the convention center. The prom was set up really nice and it was a decent time. The food was alright and this old bitch of a waitress didn't seem to miss any chance to bump into me. JP and I didn't dance. I'm too shy and neither of us really know how lol so we just hung out. Eventually we got bored and left to go to Ethan's for a bit. We walked over to south and walked into their prom for about 2 minutes before we got told to leave cause the prom was over.

My mom and Dan eventually arrived and drove us back to Chatham where we hung out and played GTA4. The nest day JP had to leave kind of early which was unfortunate. Later on in the evening I went over to Josh's house for a nes / snes bash which was pretty sweet. I got pretty tired so I called to get picked up and went over to say hi to some people at Steve's house. I ended up staying there cause I was way too tired to walk home. I had a pretty sweet time at both places though.
